Check Out What We Have Been Up to Lately!
LEGO Robotics Qualifying and State Competitions
Our team has recently been working to help the De La Salle LEGO robotics team as a way to introduce young minds to the excitement and intrigue of robotics. Our committed Safety Captain and Electrical Lead, Keira Mouquin, has spent the past several months coaching the team and teaching them important skills to use in competitions and later in life. Thanks to her tireless dedication and the continued effort of the De La Salle Robotic Rams, their team was able to win 1st place in the robot category and went on to win the entire Qualifying Competition as a whole. This allowed them to advance to the FIRST LEGO League State Competition, where they won 2nd place overall and were invited to WPI’s International Invitational Tournament. Several members of our own team volunteered at the State Competition to further support FIRST’s mission of inspiring younger generations to realize their potential.
2025 Season Kickoff
The 2025 FIRST Robotics Competition season kickoff was on January 4, 2025. Having spent the past several months preparing for this day, we were very excited! Students, parents, and alumni met at La Salle Academy to plan for the season. We would like to give a huge thanks to our wonderful alumni who helped the team strategize to tackle the Reefscape challenge. We had a productive day and further established a sense of community among our past, current, and new team members.
From late November to early December, the Rambots participated in Foster Forward’s Holiday Pajama Drive by collecting and donating pajamas. Thanks to our charitable La Salle community, we were overflowing with donations!
